Statement of Faith
1. The Bible: We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. The Bible is the ultimate authority for faith in practice that guides us into living a life that honors God.
2. The Trinity: We believe in one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully and equally God.
3. Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. His virgin birth and sinless life are central to our faith. Jesus’ sacrificial death reconciles us with God, and His resurrection assures us of eternal life.
4. Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We affirm that salvation involves repentance from sin, a personal relationship with Christ, and a commitment to live according to His teachings.
5. The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is actively involved in the world today. The Holy Spirit convicts individuals of sin, guides people to Christ, and equips them with spiritual gifts for service in God’s Kingdom.
6. Community of Believers: We believe that the Body of Christ is composed of all believers who are united in faith. That Body is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and serve others with love and compassion.
7. The Great Commission: We believe in the Great Commission given by Jesus to His followers—to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. We are committed to spreading the message of Jesus Christ through word and deed, locally and globally.
8. The Dignity of Human Life: We believe that every human life is sacred, created in the image of God. We are called to uphold the dignity and value of each person, advocating for justice, mercy, and respect for all.
9. The Return of Christ: We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, who will return and establish His eternal Kingdom. This belief compels us to live with hope, integrity, and purpose.
